Sergi Belbel

Sergi Belbel i Coslado (* May 29, 1963 in Terrassa) is a Catalan writer, director and translator. He is one of the most important contemporary playwrights of Spain and since 2005 has been director of the National Theatre of Barcelona.

Life

Belbel studied Romance Philology at the University of Barcelona, ​​makes theater experience from 1986 at the Teatro Fronterzio in Madrid. His first play will be premiered in the same year in Gijon.
