Sergio Badilla Castillo

Sergio Badilla Castillo ( born November 30, 1947 in Valparaiso ) is a Chilean poet, essayist, translator, and university professor. He is considered the founder of the trans- realistic tendency in modern poetry. Badilla Castillo was influenced by the modern Finnish and Swedish poetry, and especially by the Norse mythology.
