Serhat Akın

Niyazi Serhat Akın Hikmet ( born June 5, 1981 in Bretten ) is a Turkish football player. His brother Serkan is also a professional footballer. Serhat Akın is a fast attacker, which can be used either as a right winger or as a center forward.

Birth

Serhat Akin was born in 1981 as the son of Turkish immigrants in the small German town of Bretten (Baden- Württemberg).

Career

Clubs

With the football games he started at FC Viktoria Jöhlingen and SV Oberderdingen. In the e- youth, he moved to Karlsruher SC. The Turkish Football Association soon discovered his talent and recommended him to club coaches in Turkey. Although Trabzonspor and Beşiktaş Istanbul expressed interest in him, he wrote in 2000 a two -year contract with Fenerbahce. In his debut season 2000/ 01 he came in 25 league games for use, scoring nine goals and won with the team the championship. The next two seasons, scored Serhat another 22 hit, was able to win with the team but no further trophies. National

In August 2002, Serhat made ​​his debut in a 3-0 victory over Georgia in the Turkish national team.
