Serhiy Danylchenko

Serhiy Danilchenko (Ukrainian: Сергій Данильченко; * April 27, 1974 in Kharkiv ) is a former Ukrainian boxer.

1998 Danilchenko was with a final victory over Marian Alexandru, Romania ( 12:3 ), European champion in the Bantamweight (-54 kg). After several failed attempt in 1999 Danilchenko 2000 qualified to the tournament in Liverpool for the Olympic Games in the same year. At the games, he reached then after beating the winner of the Asian Games in 1998 Dingko Singh, India ( 14:5 ), and Justin Kane, Australia ( RSC 4 ), surprisingly the semifinals. This, he played against the bronze medalist from 1996 Raimkul Malachbekow, where he was beaten with 15:10 points.

2001 won Danilchenko Guillermo Rigondeaux behind, Cuba, and Aghasi Məmmədov, Turkey, the bronze medal at the World Championships. In the same year he was also second in the Goodwill Games in Brisbane behind Rigondeaux.

2002 Danilchenko professional, but ended his career in 2003 after a TKO loss to a division club opponents after only two fights.
