Serra de São Mamede

The Serra de São Mamede is a Portuguese Mountain It is located in north-eastern Alentejo Portalegre District on the border with Spain. The up to 1025 m high mountains are largely covered with forest. To protect the rich flora and fauna of the 31,750 -acre natural park Parque Natural da Serra de São Mamede arose.
