The Great Willow Clearwing ( Sesia bembeciformis ) is a butterfly of the family of the Clearwing ( Sesiidae ).

Features

The Great Willow clearwings recalls his warning coloration, and his behavior at Hornets - potential predators avoid him thereby. The species is therefore also referred to as hornets enthusiast. Such an adjustment is also called mimicry. The adults are about 32 to 42 millimeters in size.
