Šeškinė

Seskine (Polish Szeszkinia ) a district of Vilnius is north of the city center. There are the following facilities: District Administration, Department, post office, cemetery Saltoniškės, trade center Vilniaus Akropolis, Siemens Arena and Vichy water park, Utenos Pramogu arena, three high schools, two middle schools, high school and many kindergartens.

History

Seskine was 1390 and 1545 mentioned in a document. From the 12th to the 19th century it belonged to Radvilos. 1955 Seskine was affiliated to Vilnius. In 1977 they built the high-rise buildings.
