The Seßmarbach, called the upper reaches Thal Becke and Becke, is a 9.0 km long, orographic right tributary of Agger in Oberbergisch district, North Rhine -Westphalia ( Germany ).

Geography

The Seßmarbach arises as Becke valley about 1 km southeast of Dannenberg on the northern slope of the Unnenbergs ( 505.6 m) to 379 m above sea level. NN. From here it flows primarily to the south. South of Engelberg to the west and Long Mountain to the east by the creek flows underground a Grauwackegebiet. Before Becke he emerged as Becke again and flows east past Gummersbach. He then recognized as Seßmarbach on his way to the south and flows Niedersessmar to 182 m above sea. NN in the Agger. On his way to the creek overcomes 197 m difference in altitude, which corresponds to an average bed slope of 21.9 ‰.
