Sessrúmnir

Sessrumnir is a term from Norse mythology and means literally " seats Scrapers ". Presumably so were originally ships called by many banks of oars.

Snorri uses the word in the Gylfaginning for Freya's hall in Folkwang. In it, half of the fallen in battle warriors gathered. The other half is collected to Odin in Valhalla.
