As setae (Latin for bristles, sing. Seta ) is called specialized in zoology hair as

  • The bristle hairs of mammals
  • The hairs of the Scopula on the tarsi and many other places of spiders, insects and other arthropods
  • The hairs on the feet of geckos
  • The name giver of the bristles Annelidengruppen Polychaeta Oligochaeta and are also sometimes referred to as setae, see bristle ( worms and arthropods ).
