Sétima Legião was a Portuguese pop band from Lisbon.

History

The name in German means " Seventh Legion" and refers to the Roman army, which was sent to the area of ​​today's Portugal, the former Roman province of Lusitania. The group was founded in 1982 under the influence of New Wave bands, especially Joy Division, and mixed them with Celtic folk music, especially from the North of Portugal and Galicia from.
