The coup of 7 Aces (Original Title: Sette volte sette ) is a 1968 crime film twisted with humorous intent, the Michele Lupo directed and who came to German cinemas only on 18 June 1973. The GDR TV title is 7 aces, the later video releases are greatly reduced.

Action

Seven inmates, specialists in their field, use football enthusiasm of guards during a playoff for the championship to break out of their cells to rob the Federal Reserve Bank of England watermarked paper for printing money, and return to the prison. The meticulously planned coup succeeds in spite of cardiac death of one of the robbers; the stolen paper, however, turns out to be worthless.

Criticism
