Sèvres – Babylone (Paris Métro)

Sèvres - Babylone is an underground station of the Paris Métro. It is located on the border of the 6th and 7th arrondissement of Paris. The station is served by the metro line 10 and 12. The station of the line 10 is below the Rue de Sèvres, the line 12 at the Boulevard Raspail.

The station was opened on November 5, 1910, under the name " Sevres ", with the opening of the line 12 ( line 10 at the time ) put into operation. This was then extended from Porte de Versailles to the station Notre-Dame- de -Lorette. As of December 30, 1923 the station today's line was opened 10. Then called their station " Babylone ". Shortly thereafter, both stations were connected and received its present name.
