SFlow

SFlow is a standard for monitoring of computer networks, which was presented in 2001 in RFC 3176.

SFlow describes a mechanism, the current flowing through a switch or router network traffic to detect statistically and forward them to a central server for analysis. There are two different types of recording: Flow samples and counter samples.
