SG Bornim

The SG Bornim is a German football club from the district of Potsdam Bornim. Home of the 270 -member association is the sports complex Bornim.

Association

The SG Bornim was founded in 1927, but resigned in 1928 after a merger with black -and-white green universe Toeplitz under the name BSC Bornim black -and-white green on. The club acted in the Havel country until 1945 always unterklassig, any participation in the Gauliga Berlin -Brandenburg did not take place.

1945, the club was dissolved and re-established as SG Bornim. The following season Bornim went through the national league and got the first time in the fifth division Brandenburg. The Association League Brandenburg held the SG Bornim only 1998/99 with a ninth place in the following season, the sports community was withdrawn for financial reasons from playing the highest class of Brandenburg. In 2002, the SG dismounted from the country class and plays continuously since then in the county league Havel Country Center. 2013 managed to return to the country class.
