Shangri-La (novel)

Shangri -La (Japaneseシャングリ·ラ) is a Japanese light novel series written by Eiichi Ikegami and illustrated by Ken'ichi Yoshida. It was first published from April 2004 to May 2005. It was later adapted as a manga and anime television series.

Action

The action begins in a not too distant future, in which Tokyo has turned the world's largest jungle city to absorb CO2. The world of the characters is governed by an Atlas -called governmental organization, which tries to keep CO2 emissions low.
