The Shanxi Agricultural University (English Shanxi Agricultural University, Chinese山西 农业 大学) is a public university in the Chinese province of Shanxi. It is located in the district town of Taigu (太谷), a rural area south of the provincial capital Taiyuan. The supervision of the University leads the provincial government in Shanxi.

History

The university goes back to the Ming Hsien School, was founded in 1907 by a group of missionaries of the American Oberlin College with the support of financiers HH Kung, the future husband of Song Ailing.
