Kung Fu Girl (Japanese少林 少女, shōjo Shorin, dt "Shaolin Girl" ) is a Japanese movie with martial arts director Katsuyuki Motohiro deposits from the year 2008. The work is inspired by the Hong Kong film Shaolin Soccer ( 2001) by director Stephen Chow, who merely participates as an executive producer here. In the leading role operates the Japanese Kō Shibasaki.

The film was released on April 26, 2008 in Japan. The German DVD premiere took place on 13 August 2009.

Action

The young Japanese woman Lin Sakurazawa ( in the anglicised version, she is called Rin ) learned in a remote Chinese Shaolin Monastery 3000 days long, the traditional Shaolin Kung Fu. Following the petite master student returns to her small home town to make their martial arts popular in Japan. This concern also corresponds to the desired life of her late grandfather, who once ran a renowned training hall. On their return, however, the highly talented martial arts graduate has to realize that there is no perceptible Kung Fu tradition more. The premises of the family expired, the former student suppress any form of martial arts exercise. Even Lin's former mentor and teacher Iwai, now chef and owner of a guest house, refused to cooperate. Rather, he admonished Lin urgently abandon the planned project.

The self- conscious Lin whose remains stubbornly regardless. She meets the attractive Minmin that you offer to participate in the Kung Fu training when Lin learned in return Lacrosse team and the students joining. A master student agrees reluctantly. Minmin is their first student.
