Shari Arison

Shari Arison ( born 1957 in New York ) is a living in Tel Aviv, which is mainly active in the cruise business Israeli entrepreneur. In addition to many other investments it holds a blocking stake in Bank Hapoalim, the largest bank in Israel.

With a personal fortune of 3.4 billion U.S. dollars ( 2010) it is the richest citizens of Israel and the richest woman in the entire Middle East.

Shari Arison is the daughter of Lin and Ted Arison. The basis of their wealth is their inheritance of 35 percent of the assets of her father. He had in 1972, the company Carnival Cruise Lines established from which the present-day Carnival Corporation & plc was established, the largest cruise company in the world.

Shari Arison is married and has four children.
