Sharon Bezaly

Sharon Bezaly (born 1972 in Israel) is an Israeli classical flutist. Bezaly was born in Israel, but since 2010 has lived in Sweden. Her first solo appearance was in 1986 at the age of 14 years with the Israel Philharmonic under Zubin Mehta. Later she joined the Camerata Salzburg and secured in the place of the first solo flute. Appearances

Sharon Bezaly occurs since then with symphony and chamber orchestras in Japan, China, Israel, Central and Western Europe, England, North and South America, Australia and Scandinavia. She gave concerts in major concert halls of the world, such as the Musikverein in Vienna, the Châtelet in Paris and Suntory Hall in Tokyo, and at festivals with Gidon Kremer of the Bartók Quartet. In May 2006, she appeared in Minneapolis with Osmo Vänskä and the Minnesota Orchestra at Orchestra Hall.

Commissioned works

There have so far been written thirteen commissioned concerts for them by composers such as Kalevi Aho, Sofia Gubaidulina, Christian Lindberg and Zhou Long. As of July 2008, three more composed for her.

Discography

Bezaly brought 24 CDs out at the Swedish label BIS Records. She is married to the head of the company Robert von Bahr. Your flute was made by Muramatsu Flutes 24-karat gold.
