Sharyn Canyon

The Scharyn National Park ( Kazakh Шарын ұлттық паркі; Russian Чарынский национальный парк Tscharynski nazionalny park ) is a national park in the southeast of Kazakhstan east of the city of Almaty. It is named after the Scharyn River, which has washed in the National Park area has a deep canyon in the surrounding rock. This is often compared to the Grand Canyon in the USA. The Scharyn Canyon is slightly smaller than this but formed similarly bizarre.
