Shawn Bradley

Shawn Paul Bradley ( born March 22, 1972 in Landstuhl ) is a former basketball player with German nationality. He was born the son of a U.S. soldier in Landstuhl Regional Medical Center.

Life and career

With a height of 2.29 meters ( 7'6 " ), he played the center position for the Dallas Mavericks, New Jersey Nets and Philadelphia 76ers in the NBA. Bradley grew up in Castle Dale, Utah. As a U.S. citizen, he also has the German nationality. With his teammate Dirk Nowitzki, he played at the 2001 European Basketball Championship 2001 in Turkey for Germany and occupied with the national team to fourth place. After that, he was not nominated again for the national team.
