Shea Seger

Shea Seger ( born 1979 in Fort Worth, Texas ) is an American singer.

Curriculum vitae

Seger grew up in the small Texas town of Quitman. At the age of two, she began to play the piano and wrote his own songs as a teenager first. After her schooling she took in Virginia Beach on a vocal and acting training.

1998 Seger moved to London. There she met the producer Martin Terefe and songwriter Nick Whitecross. Together with them, was established in 2000 their debut album The May Street Project. The second single from the album reached the UK Singles Chart. But she could not bring her the necessary attention and so they deferred their musical career.

In the following years she married, had a daughter and eventually returned to their native Texas. In July 2010, she launched a new start-up with their second album named after her himself.
