Sheba Deireragea

Sheba Deireragea ( born May 28, 1986 in Denigomodu ) is a Nauruan weightlifter. They currently compete in the 75 -kilogram class. It is considered one of the biggest sporting talents of the island state Nauru.

The first international success came Deireragea in the 2002 Commonwealth Games in Manchester, when she won three bronze medals in the 69 -kilogram class. In May 2005 Deireragea won at the Arafura Games 2005 in Darwin ( Australia) in their current weight class respectively the gold medal in the juniors and the seniors.

Deireragea also took in November 2005 in Doha ( Qatar) for the first time at weightlifting world championships, the only Nauruerin next to Yukio Peter; she won a total of 14 rank. At the 2006 Commonwealth Games she won the silver medal just behind the Australians Deborah Lovely.
