Shed (deity)

Sched ( to German: Savior ) is a god of Egyptian mythology.

Function

Sched was a patron god in emergency situations, which should protect them from wild animals primarily for the ancient Egyptians. He is first occupied after the end of Amarna period. There have been bearing the likeness of Sched found that, back then protective powers of this god were awarded for the respective carrier many amulets.

Since the New Kingdom the deity Hor - sched is busy in Egyptian mythology as a form of association which represents a minor form of the god Horus and was fitted in the Greco -Roman period with young and childlike attributes.
