Name and history
The trumpet or trumpet node stitch is a shortening knot, which can be placed in a line, without using the ends, which makes it ideal for subsequent shortening of already -made linen.
Since the nodes can be solved under both too much and too little under load, it should not be used.
Tie
It is produced as shown in the photos. You put three eyes parallel to each other and can overlap at the edges. Then pull the middle eye on each side by the applied eye. This creates a node which is similar from a trumpet.
