Sheila Watt-Cloutier

Sheila Watt - Cloutier ( born December 2, 1953) is a Canadian Inuit activist.

It is a political representative of the Inuit at the regional, national and international levels, most recently as International Chair for Inuit Circumpolar Council. Sheila Watt - Cloutier has worked on in a variety of social and environmental matters, the Inuit. Currently, her work deals with persistent organic pollutants and global warming. She received several awards (including the Sophie Prize ) and honors for her work and has been portrayed in a number of documentaries by journalists of all media.

Honors

She was named one of seven Champions of the Earth by the United Nations in 2005.
