Sherburne Hopkins

Sherburne Gillette Hopkins ( born October 5, 1868 in Washington, DC, † June 22, 1932 in ) was a Washington lawyer.

Life

The father of Sherburne Gillette Hopkins was Thomas S Hopkins, of the law firm Hopkins & Hopkins conducted with him. Thomas S Hopkins has long been the Washington lawyer Charles Flint Ranlett [ wp 1], and shareholders of the Pierce Oil Corporation, a subsidiary of Standard Oil Company.

Sherburne Gillette Hopkins studied law at Columbia University and was admitted as a barrister in 1889. 1891 Hopkins organized arms for the coup by Jorge Montt Álvarez in Chile. In the Spanish- US-American War in 1898 Hopkins was employed as a captain in Cuba. From 1910 Sherburne Gillette Hopkins did public relations for the project of the Mexican Revolution by Francisco Madero.Hopkins claimed that the son of Porfirio Díaz, Coronel Ingeniero Porfirio Díaz Ortega, 200 shares with a market value per share of 1000 U.S. dollars and 8 % return of El Aguilar [ wp 2] would have a limited company, which was founded by the British Weetman Pearson, 1st Viscount Cowdray [ wp 3] possessed. 1914 Sherburne was Gillette Hopkins, attorney Henry Clay Pierce ( 1849-1927 Standard Oil ), which was concerned to note that he did not support Venustiano Carranza.
