Sheykh ol-Eslam's House

The house Scheych ol Eslams (Persian خانه شیخ الاسلام, IPA: xɑnɛ jɛ ʃɛjxolɛslɑm ) is a historic house in the Iranian city of Isfahan. The house is one of the finest historic houses in the city and dates back to the Qajar period. It has a large yard. The house has two parts of the building. The parts of the building are located on the northern and southern side of the court and are designed for an unusual plan. The construction differs from other historic houses in Isfahan. The farm was originally built as Tekiyeh for religious ceremonies. Parts of the house are located on the northern side of the courtyard behind a beautiful porch with a variety of decorations, such as stucco, cut mirror and muqarnas. Opposite the north porch are a Houz and two flower-garden. In the southwestern part of the house there is a small courtyard, which is connected by a narrow corridor to the main courtyard.
