Shigenobu (Ehime)
Shigenobu (Japanese重 信 町, -chō ) was a town in the district of Ehime Prefecture Onsen in Japan.
As a satellite city of Matsuyama, Shigenobu had one of the highest Bevölkerungswachtumsraten in Japan.
History
It was founded on September 1, 1956 by merging the villages Kitayoshii, Minamiyoshii and Haishi.
On September 21, 2004, it was merged with the municipality of Kawauchi to the city Toon and since then no longer exists as an independent administrative unit.
