Shigeo Mito
Shigeo Mito (Japanese水 戸 茂雄, Shigeo Mito, * in Osaka ) is a Japanese lute, theorbo player and Vihuelista.
Life and work
Shigeo Mito came to Europe in 1980 and studied at the Conservatorio Superior de Musica Estatal Oscar Esplá Alicante and Real Conservatorio Superior de Musica Madrid. Then he studied with José Miguel Moreno, Hopkinson Smith and Jordi Savall. After his return to Japan, he holds many concerts and conducted workshops for lute and vihuela.
