Shima Peninsula

Geographical location

The Shima Peninsula (Japanese志摩 半岛, Shima - Hanto ) is a peninsula on the east coast of Honshu in Mie Prefecture in Japan. The region is also known as Ise -Shima (伊 势 志摩).

It is located southwest of Nagoya and separates the Pacific Ocean to the south of the Ise Bay in the north. Among the municipalities and cities on the peninsula include Toba, Ise and Shima.
