Shimon Garidi

Shimon Garidi ( שמעון גרידי; born December 1, 1912 in Dhamar, † 16 January 2003) was an Israeli politician and Knesset member of Hitachdut HaTeimanim beJisra'el 1951-1955.

He emigrated in 1920 to Palestine, where he studied at the Academy in Tel Aviv and at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. From 1932 to 1944 he worked as a Hebrew teacher. In the Israeli election in 1951 Shimon Garidi was placed at the head of the electoral list and became a deputy.
