The station Shin- Okubo (Japanese新 大 久保 駅, Shin- Okubo -eki ) is located in Shinjuku in Tokyo Prefecture, Japan.

History

On 14 November 1914, the station was opened as a passenger station.

On 26 January 2001, the station reached sad attention from the public, as a 47 year old photographer from Yokohama and a 26 year old student from Korea were killed while trying to rescue a drunk and fell from the platform onto the tracks Japanese. All three people were struck by a train of the Yamanote Line and arrived at the accident to. At the funeral, the Japanese Prime Minister Yoshiro Mori and the Foreign Minister Yohei Kono participated. In 2007 came with Anata o wasurenai a biographical film about the life of perished Korean students.
