Shin Suk-ju

Shin Suk -ju (* 1417, † June 21, 1475 ) was a Korean politician, painter and philosopher neokonfuzianischer.

He led in the 15th century during the Joseon Dynasty under the reign of King Sejong the Great and King Sejo a language reform through. His pseudonyms as a philosopher were Huihyundang ( 희 현당 ,希贤 堂) and Bohanjae ( 보 한재 ,保 闲 斋). He served his country from 1461 to 1464 and from 1471 to 1475 as head of government.
