Shingo Ueno

Shingo Ueno (Jap.上 野 真 吾, Shingo Ueno, born 12 November 1973) is a Japanese ski jumper.

Ueno played his first international jumping on 11 January 2002 in the Continental Cup in Sapporo on the normal hill. Just one day later, he was the first to jump on the front seats on the large hill with room 5. Once on the hill with a court 6 he scored a good result in the second event, he was nominated for the national group for Japanese World Cup competitions and was the first time on 24 January 2002 in Hakuba in the squad. He finished jumping on the 43rd. The following day he was able to reach number 38 in Sapporo. After another jump in the Continental Cup, he jumped again on 23 January 2003 in Hakuba in the World Cup, but could not reach the 2nd round again. Also in the following competition in Sapporo, he was only 50 and thus last. Two more years, he has only been used in jumping as part of the Continental Cup, before being used again on January 21, 2006 in Sapporo as a national Springer and reached in this competition for the first time the second passage and at the end of the 25th place. A day later, he was 13 and reached his best World Cup result. However, it was his last World Cup so far. Since then he has only jumped a few jump in the FIS Cup. On 5 March 2007, he jumped his last jump so far in Japanese Zaō.
