Shinshūi Wakashū

Shinshūi - Wakashū ( Japanese:新 拾遗 和 歌集also:新 拾遗 集Shinshūishū ) is a waka anthology commissioned by Emperor Go - Kōgon ( 1336-1374 ) commissioned and which was completed about 1364. The compiler of the anthology was Nijo Tameaki. After his death in 1663, the Buddhist monk Ton'a completed the collection. The anthology includes 20 rolls with a total of 1,920 Waka.
