Shin’ya Tsukamoto

Shin'ya Tsukamoto (Japanese冢 本 晋 也, Tsukamoto Shin'ya; * January 1, 1960 in the prefecture of Tokyo, Japan) is a Japanese film director and actor who is known for his unusual aesthetic and avant-garde films with surrealistic and sometimes extremely violent content is.

Tsukamoto reached cult status with the film Tetsuo: The Iron Man, in which a Sarariman through bizarre and adversity is transformed more and more into a machine-man.
