Stranded is the German DVD title of a movie from the Norwegian director Nils Gaup from the year 1990., He was produced and funded with support from the Disney Studios, who also took over the rental. On German television, the film was titled Stranded on Treasure Island. It is based on the first novel published in 1873 by Håkon Håkonsen Oluf Vilhelm Falck - Ytter.

Action

It tells the story of the boy Haakon Haakonsen, who pulls away from home and travels to the sea to earn money for the sale of threatened his family home. After he hired on a ship, this is done by pirates and sinks in a storm. Haakon wakes up alone on an island and finds a great treasure, but the pirates rise to the claim, which seeks to prevent Haakon.
