Shizuka Matsuo
Shizuka Matsuo (Japanese松尾 静香, Shizuka Matsuo; * November 24, 1986 in Osaka Prefecture ) is a Japanese badminton player.
Career
Matsuo comes from the prefecture of Osaka. Through her family, she came with 8 years for badminton and also played in the school club at the elementary school Uriwari - Nishi in the district Hirano of Osaka. At this time they reached first success with a 2nd place in the singles at the national primary school championships in 1998. During her high school time, although played in the school club middle school Uriwari - Nishi, but attended the private Shoin -Higashi High School in the neighboring town HigashiOsaka. At the middle school championships in 2001 she reached the third place in the individual. Then she went to the Konohana Gakuin High School (as previously also Shuichi Nakao ) in the district of Osaka Ikuno. Your first international success came at the Dutch Juniors in 2005 where she reached the first place in the doubles together with its subsequent teammate Mami Naito.
After school, she took effect on 1 April 2005 in the company Sanyo and played for their team work and after the company was taken over by Panasonic in 2011 for his work team.
In 2008, she won in the same discipline at the Australia Open, together with Yasuyo Imabeppu, the sister of her teammate Kaori Imabeppu, and there was also runner-up in mixed doubles. In 2009 she won the Austrian International and the Japanese single Championships again in women's doubles. In 2011 she won with Mami Naito again the Australia Open in doubles.
