Shkëlzen Gashi

Shkelzen Gashi (born 15 July 1988 in Switzerland ) is an Albanian -Swiss footballer. The midfielder is since 2012 the Grasshopper Club Zurich under contract.

Career

Shkelzen came in 2006 from his own youth in the professional field of FCZ. After a short time in the first team, he was re- used more and more in the U -21 team.

In the 2007 /08 season Gashi had been loaned to FC Schaffhausen in the Challenge League, scoring three goals in 16 missions. In the summer of 2008, he was then loaned again. This time the league rivals AC Bellinzona. The Leihkontrakt, which expired in June 2009, was extended until December 2009.

Gashi completed to date, 44 appearances in the Super League and scored four goals (as of August 7, 2011 ).

Shkelzen was in the squad of the Swiss U -21 team. Later he made ​​his international debut for Albania when he was eingewchselt in August 2013 in a friendly match with Armenia in the 69th minute for Edmond Kapllani. He made his Startelfdebut then in the World Cup qualifier against Switzerland on 11 October 2013.
