Shobhana Samarth (also Shobana or Shobhna; Marathi / Hindi: शोभना समर्थ, sobhana Samarth, born November 17, 1916 in Bombay, † February 9, 2000 in Pune, Maharashtra ) was an Indian actress of the Hindi film.

Life

About her mother, actress Rattan Bai, Shobhana Samarth came into contact with the film. From 1936 to 1941 she worked for the Sagar Film Company in Bombay, and frequently appeared with actor Motilal. In her first film directed by Vijay Bhatt, Bharat Milap (1942 ), she established her screen image as an actress Sita. She took on this role several times on the side of Prem Adib as Ram, including the mythological films Ramrajya (1943) and Rambaan (1947).
