Shokugosen Wakashū

Shokugosen - Wakashū ( Japanese:続 后 撰 和 歌集also:続 后 撰 集Shokugosenshū, dt as New gleaning ) is a waka anthology, given the already detached from the Emperor Go - Saga ( 1220-1272 ) commissioned and was completed in 1251. The compiler of the anthology was Fujiwara no Tameie (1198-1275), son of the compiler, Fujiwara no Teika. The anthology includes 20 rolls with a total of 1,368 Waka.
