Shorty Long
Shorty Long ( born May 20, 1940 as Frederick Long in Birmingham (Alabama ), † June 29, 1969 ) was an American singer.
Life
Frederick " Shorty" Long grew up in Birmingham in the state of Alabama. In the late 1950s he toured two years with the Ink Spots by the country. Mid-1960s, he got a record deal, but was only in 1968 with the song Here comes the judge a chart success. Long drowned in a boating excursion on June 29, 1969.
