Showa Denko

Showa Denko K. K. (Japanese昭和 电工 株式会社,. engl Showa Denko KK) is a Japanese chemical company, which is listed on the Nikkei 225.

Showa Denko was founded in the 1930s by Mori Nobuteru as part of the Mori Group by fusion of Shōwa Hiryō (fertilizer) and Nippon Denki Kōgyō ( electronics) and was originally mainly used in the production of fertilizer ( ammonium sulfate) operates. Today, the company generates its revenue through chemistry, aluminum smelting and electronics.
