Sibree's dwarf lemur

The back strip Fettschwanzmaki ( Cheirogaleus sibreei ) is a primate of the group of lemurs. The species is so far known only from museum specimens.

Ridge stripe Fettschwanzmakis resemble the brown Fettschwanzmakis. Their fur is gray brown on the back, the abdomen and flanks are whitish - gray. Named giving feature is a dark dorsal stripe on the back. The head is round, dark eye circles are unlike other Fettschwanzmakis pronounced weak. The ears are hairy dark and light.

The specimens come from three different places in the east of the island of Madagascar, their habitat are therefore rainforests. Otherwise, nothing is known about their way of life, may she agrees with that of the Great Fettschwanzmakis match.
