Sicovam

With Société Inter Professionnelle pour la Compensation of Valeurs mobilières ( Sicovam ) a French Identification System ( National Securities Identifying Number) for companies listed in France securities (similar German securities identification number ), as well as the company, which was the responsible for the allocation referred to.

On 1 July 2003 SICOVAM was combined with the pan-European Euro Clear. Since also no SICOVAM numbers are to be output, which have now been superseded by the international ISINs. With the conversion of SICOVAMs on ISINs the former, the country code FR and three zeros was simply prefixed and added a check digit at the end.
