Sid Melton
Sid Melton, actually Sidney Meltzer ( May 22nd 1917 in Brooklyn, New York City; † November 2, 2011 in Burbank, California ) was an American actor.
Life
Born Sidney Meltzer was one of five children of the comedian Isidore Meltzer (1890-1968) and his wife Fanny. He debuted in 1939 on the stage and was able to thank his older brother, the screenwriter Lewis Meltzer ( 1911-1995 ), will debut in the 1941 comedy published in New York Town as a film actor. His Broadway debut was in 1947 and his first acting contract with a movie studio he signed in 1949 with Lippert Pictures, which he starred in several low-budget productions.
On November 2, 2011 Melton died at the age of 94 years from the effects of pneumonia at Providence St. Joseph Medical Center.
