The boiling point is about 22 km long left-hand ( north ) side of the river Große Aue. It runs mostly in the south of the county Diepholz and is part of the river system in the Weser.

Course

The boiling springs at Reihausen angels in the district of the municipality Bruchhausen- Vilsen, very close to the Hachequelle. Then flows south through the Municipality Siedenburg and their nucleus Siedenburg for which it is named-giving. Then leaves the Diepholz and ends in Nienburg in the Große Aue.

Tributaries of boiling are the hollow Kamper Beeke ( = upper and middle reaches of the creek Päpser ), the Speckenbach and Eschbach.
