Siegfried Susser

Siegfried Susser ( born July 12, 1953 in Vilshofen ) is a former German football player.

Career

Siegfried Susser played from 1971 to 1977 at FC Vilshofen in the district and state league. For the season 1977/78 he moved to the first FC Nuremberg and played in the 2nd Bundesliga. By the second place in the final table to Susser qualified with his club mates for the promotion round to the Bundesliga. Under coach Werner Kern, the club won against Rot-Weiss Essen. From the 1978/79 season thus Susser played first class. For the second round, he was loaned to SC Freiburg. For the new season, he returned to the club. Since Nuremberg was relegated in the previous season, he was playing in the second league. Susser stayed a year in Nuremberg and then moved on to league rivals Stuttgarter Kickers, where he played three years in the second division. Then he moved to France for a year to Racing Strasbourg. He returned to Germany and played in the league for SpVgg Fürth Bavaria. From 1987 he played in the lower amateur leagues at BSC Erlangen, 1 SC Feucht, SpVgg Obertrubach and TSV Falkenheim.
